Wladimir Klitschko in a one sided bout defeated David Haye (25-2-0, 23 KOs) of the UK by 12-round unanimous decision on Saturday, July 2, 2011 at the 55,000 seat Imtech-Arena in Hamburg, Germany. Scores were 118-108, 117-109 and 116-110. Klitschko lost a point for pushing Haye down. Haye was given the count in round eleven after visiting the canvas multiple slips and push downs. Klitschko stayed behind his jab for most of the bout was disappointed that he didn't get the chance to knock Haye out. In addition to his victory Klitschko unified titles capturing David Haye's WBA Super World heavyweight title while successfully defending in his own IBF, IBO and WBO heavyweight titles.

Wladimir "Dr Steelhammer" Klitschko
Wladimir Klitschko, the younger brother of former heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko was the 1996 Super Heavyweight Gold Medalist for the Ukraine at the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia. Klitschko is trained by Emmanuel Steward of Kronk Gym and commentator for HBO boxing.
Klitschko beat Samuel Peter by 12-round unanimous decision at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City on Saturday, September 24, 2005 despite being down two times in the 5th round and once in the 10th round. Scores were 114-111, 114-111 and 114-111.
On April 22, 2006 at the SAP-Arena in Mannheim, Germany, Wladimir Klitschko beat Chris Byrd by a 7th round TKO. Klitschko knocked Byrd down in both the 5th and 7th rounds with a right. Bleeding heavily from a cut near his eye Byrd made the count when he was downed in the 7th round but referee Wayne Kelly stopped the bout.
Wladimir Klitschko beat Calvin Brock by a 7th round KO on November 11, 2006 at Madison Square Garden in New York. Klitschko nailed Brock with a quick left followed by a big right hand that sent Brock falling face down to the canvas.
Klitschko successfully defended his IBF and IBO heavyweight titles at the SAP-Arena in Mannheim, Germany on March 10, 2007 beating Ray Austin by TKO in the 2nd round. Klitschko hit Austin with four consecutive left hooks that ended the fight. Austin face down alongside the ropes was able to make it to his knees but had that vacant look that caused referee Eddie Cotton to stop the fight.
Wladimir Klitschko waited for three years for his rematch with Lamond Brewster who stopped Klitschko by a 5th round TKO on April 10, 2004 in Las Vegas, Nevada. This time on July 07, 2007 in Koln, Germany, Klitschko scored a TKO after Brewster's corner threw in the towel before the 6th round. In their first meeting Klitschko punched himself out after four rounds. In the rematch Klitschko fought at a measured pace using his jab to control the fight and find range to land his right.
On Saturday, February 23, 2008 at Madison Square Garden in New York, Wladimir Klitschko beat Sultan Ibragimov by a 12-round unanimous decision. Wladimir took home Sultan's WBO heavyweight belt to add to his IBF and IBO heavyweight belts making him the first unified heavyweight champion in nine years. Wladimir went on to beat Tony Thompson (31-2-0, 19 KOs) of Washington DC by knockout at 1:38 of round eleven on Saturday, July 12, 2008 at the Color Line Arena in Hamburg, Germany retaining his IBF, IBO, WBO heavyweight titles.
Wladimir Klitschko beat Hasim Rahman (45-7-2, 36 KOs) by 7th round TKO on Saturday, December 13, 2008 at the SAP-Arena in Mannheim, Germany. Wladimir used his stiff jab to control the fight and his right hand and combinations to rock Rahman. In round six Wladimir sent Rahman to the canvas. In round seven referee Tony Weeks stopped the fight with Rahman up against the ropes defenseless and taking a beating. Rahman only landed 30 punches during the entire fight to Klitschko's 178 punches.
Klitschko beat Ruslan Chagaev (25-1-1, 17 KOs) by 9th round RTD (see Fight Writer Graham Houston's excellent explanation on why it should be recorded as a 9th round verses 10th round stoppage) on Saturday, June 20, 2009 at the Veltins Arena in Gelsenkirchen, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany in front of a sellout crowd of 61,000. Formerly undefeated Chagaev was down in round two from a straight right to the chin. Wladimir Klitschko's height advantage, his jabs and straight rights kept Chagaev outside throughout the fight. Klitschko opened up a deep cut over Chagaev's left eye which bleed profusely and became a target for Klitschko's right hand prompting the referee to stop the fight after the ring doctor visited Chagaev's corner at the end of round nine. Wladimir retained his IBF/IBO/WBO heavyweight titles in addition to capturing The Ring Magazine heavyweight title that had been vacant for years.
Wladimir Klitschko beat Eddie Chambers (35-2-0, 18 KOs) by 12th round knockout on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at the ESPRIT Arena in Dusseldorf, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany retaining his IBF/IBO/WBO heavyweight titles. Klitschko landed a left hook to Chambers temple sending him face first onto the canvas hanging over the bottom rope. Referee Geno Rodriquez called a halt to the bout at 2:55 of the twelfth round without a count as Chambers lay motionless on his stomach suspended by the rope. After the fight Chambers did not remember the knockout and was sent to the hospital.
Wladimir Klitschko defeated Samuel Peter (34-4-0, 27 KOs) by 10th round KO at the Commerzbank-Arena in Frankfurt, Hessen, Germany on Saturday, September 11, 2010. Between clinches Wladimir kept Peter at bay with his long pawing left jab and straight right. Finally in round ten Wladimir put Peter down on the canvas with a barrage of punches prompting the referee to stop the fight at 1:22. In addition to his victory Klitschko retained his IBF, IBO, WBO and Ring Magazine heavyweight titles. This was the second time that Wladimir has fought and beat Peter.
