Timothy Bradley defeated Joel Casamayor (38-6-1, 22 KOs) by 8th round TKO in a WBO light welterweight title fight on Saturday, November 12, 2011 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. In a snoozer Bradley was more skilled and faster than Casamayor. In round five Bradley sent Casamayor down to the canvas with a right hand to the solar plexus. In round six Bradley cuffed Casamayor behind the head sending him to the canvas for a second time. In round eight Bradley hit Casamayor with a combination of punches and cuffed him again sending him to the canvas for a third time. Casamayor's corner had the fight stopped at 2:59 because there was really no point in continuing. Casamayor hadn't won a single round.

Timothy "Desert Storm" Bradley
Timothy Bradley of Palm Springs, California having fought in 145 amateur fights made his pro debut on August 20, 2004 at the outdoor arena at Omega Products International in Corona, California beating Francisco Martinez (0-1-0, 0 KOs) by 2nd round TKO.
Bradley continued fighting in southern California before challenging Junior Witter in a WBC light welterweight title fight on Saturday, May 10, 2008 at the Nottingham Arena in Nottingham, England. Bradley upset Witter beating him by 12-round split decision. Scores were 115-113 and 114-113 for Bradley and 115-112 for Witter. Bradley turned the fight around in the 6th round landing an overhand right which sent Witter to the canvas. Bradley outworked Witter, who is considered one of the two best fighters in the light welterweight division in England, for the rest of the bout capturing his WBC light welterweight title.
In Timothy Bradley's first defense of his WBC light welterweight title he beat Edner Cherry (24-6-2, 12 KOs) by 12-round unanimous decision on Saturday, September 13, 2008 at the Beau Rivage Resort and Casino in Biloxi, Mississippi. The judges scores were 119-109, 118-109 and 117-110 all for Bradley.
On Saturday, April 4, 2009 at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, Timothy Bradley beat Kendall Holt (25-3-0, 13 KOs) by 12-round unanimous decision. Scores were 115-111, 115-111 and 114-112. In addition to his victory Bradley successfully defended his WBC light welterweight title and captured the WBO light welterweight title.
Timothy Bradley, WBO light welterweight champion beat former lightweight champion Nate Campbell (33-6-1, 25 KOs) by 3rd round no-contest in a 12-round WBO light welterweight title fight on Saturday, August 1, 2009 at the Agua Caliente Casino in Rancho Mirage, California. Campbell suffered a cut over his left eye and said he could not see so the doctor stopped the fight. The Bradley vs Campbell fight card was promoted by Gary Shaw, Ken Thompson and Don King was the first boxing event hosted by the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians at its Agua Caliente Casino Resort Spa. Also fighting on the card was Junior Witter vs Devon Alexander for the vacant WBC light welterweight title.
Bradley successfully defended his WBO light welterweight title beating previously undefeated Lamont Peterson (27-1-0, 13 KOs) by 12-round unanimous decision on Saturday, December 12, 2009 at the Agua Caliente Casino Resort Spa in Rancho Mirage, California. Peterson was down in round three. The fight card promoted by Gary Shaw and televised live on Showtime also headlined Vic Darchinyan vs Tomas Rojas.
Ringside: Timothy Bradley beat Luis Carlos Abregu (30-1-0, 23 KOs) by 12-round majority decision on Saturday, July 17, 2010 at the Agua Caliente Casino Resort Spa in Rancho Mirage, California. Scores were 118-110, 117-111 and 116-112. It wasn't the most exciting fight to watch, Bradley's not a big hitter so it wasn't a lights out type of fight but he did enough to win. The only blood saw during the fight was from a clash of heads in round one which caused a cut over Bradley's right eye and in round seven Abregu suffered a nasty cut over his left eye courtesy of Bradley's head. This was Bradley's first fight at welterweight and his third consecutive fight at Agua Caliente.
On Saturday, January 29, 2011 at the Silverdome in Pontiac, Michigan, Bradley won by 10th round technical decision in a WBC/WBO light welterweight unification bout against Devon Alexander (21-1-0, 13 KOs). It wasn't a pretty fight to watch. Bradley accidentally headbutted Alexander repeatedly. Alexander suffered a deep cut over his right eye from a headbutt in round three and then in round ten he suffered a headbutt to his left eye. Alexander complained that his eyes were burning and that he could not see. The fight was stopped on recommendation of the ring doctor and went to the score cards. Now Bradley's last 7 opponents have been cut by Bradley's head. Scores at the time of stoppage were 98-93, 97-93 and 96-95. In addition to his victory WBO light welterweight champion Bradley captured Alexander's WBC light welterweight title.
