San Manuel Indian Bingo and Casino is located in Highland, California about 70 miles from Los Angeles in the foothills of the San Bernardino Mountains. Owned and operated by the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians it started as a bingo hall in 1986 and became a 480,000 square foot Las Vegas style casino in January 2005. Boxing began at San Manuel Indian Bingo and Casino on Thursday, December 8, 2005 when the casino hosted its first fight card promoted by Ringside Promotions.
Since September 2006 Patrick Ortiz of Ringside Ticket has promoted all the boxing matches at San Manuel Casino. Ortiz, the largest promoter of fights at Indian casinos in the United States along with matchmaker Jerry Alfano, one of the most respected matchmakers in the boxing industry are known for putting on quality fights with very competitive matchups. Fight cards include current and former world champions, contenders, up and coming prospects plus local area boxers and one woman's bout per card. »

In addition to Thursday night boxing shows at the casino, San Manuel has partnered with King of the Cage (KOTC) and will host five KOTC mixed martial arts fights at the casino in 2008, several of which will be televised nationally. King of the Cage fights feature up and coming MMA fighters as well as former UFC champions.
