Palms Boxing (continued)
The first fight card hosted by the Palms Casino at the Pearl concert theater was on Friday, May 4, 2007 promoted by Dan Goossen airing live on Showtime. One of the co-main events headlined knockout artist Chris "The Nightmare" Arreola whom many boxing fans believe has the talent to become the first Mexican heavyweight world champion. In round eight Arreola knocked opponent Malcolm Tann clear out of the boxing ring prompting the referee to stop the fight without a count.
