In 2007 Holm made women's boxing history winning six different welterweight titles. Holm, ranked number 1 welterweight at WBAN was choosen as WBAN's Fighter of the Year for 2007. In 2006 Holm was choosen as the women's 2006 Ring Magazine Fighter of The Year, 2006 IFBA Fighter of the Year and named one of the 2006 Fighters of the Year in New Mexico. Additionally in 2005 Holm was choosen as the women's 2005 Ring Magazine Fighter of the Year.

Holm had become the undisputed women's world welterweight champion on March 22, 2007 beating Ann Marie Saccurato by a 10-round unanimous decision at the Isleta Casino in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

On September 21, 2007 Holm beat Angelica Martinez by 10-round unanimous decision in an IFBA welterweight title fight which took place in New Mexico at the Santa Ana Star Casino.

Holm successfully defended her WBC and IFBA welterweight titles against Mariem "Punchenella" Brakache winning by 7th round TKO on January 11, 2008 at the Isleta Casino in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

On Thursday, February 7, 2008 at Pechanga Casino in Temecula, California, Holm won a 10-round unanimous decision over Belinda Laracuente in an IFBA welterweight title fight.
