Yorgey hurt Castaneda at the end of round three and finished him off with a vicious right in round five sending him to the canvas. It was a great comeback for Yorgey who had not fought since suffering his first professional loss to Alfredo Angulo in November 2009.

The scores were 117-11, 116-112 and 114-114. Yorgey's right uppercuts repeatedly nailed LeHoullier. In addition to his victory Yorgey also won the IBF International light middleweight title. Harry Joe Yorgey defeated Ronald Hearns (21-1-0, 17 KOs) by 9th round knockout in an upset on Saturday, March 28, 2009 at the Buffalo Run Casino in Miami, Oklahoma. Yorgey knocked down Hearns in the 3rd and 5th rounds before the final knockdown in the 9th. It was the first time Hearns had been knocked down in his pro career. Hearns was credited for a knockdown of Yorgey in the 3rd which Yorgey claimed was a slip. Yorgey also won the vacant IBA Intercontinental light middleweight title.

Yorgey lost an interim WBO light middleweight title fight to Alfredo Angulo (17-1-0, 14 KOs) by 3rd round knockout on Saturday, November 7, 2009 at the XL Center in Hartford, Connecticut. Yorgey had a good first round boxing Angulo but rounds two and three turned into a nightmare for Yorgey. He was knocked down, hurt and staggered in round two and knocked out cold in round three before he hit the canvas.
