Cuban standout Erislandy Lara returns to the ring on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada to take on challenger Ronald Hearns (26-2-0, 20 KOs) son of former world champion Thomas Hearns in a 10-round middleweight fight on the undercard of Ortiz vs Berto II. Lara is coming off one of boxing's worst decisions of the year when three New Jersey judges handed him a totally undeserved majority decision loss in his fight with Paul Williams this past July. Hearns is coming off a 7th round TKO loss to Felix Sturm in a WBA Super World middleweight title in February 2011. It appears that Hearns might have inherited his dad's suspect chin.
