Chris Arreola defeated Raphael "The Silencer" Butler (35-12-0, 28 KOs) by 3rd round TKO on ESPN Deportes on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at the Domo De La Feria in Leon, Mexico. Butler was down twice in round one, once in round two and for a last time in round three when the referee waved off the fight. Butler who was the 2004 National Golden Gloves Super Heavyweight Champion has now lost four fights in a row, three by TKO. Arreola has now won six fights in a row since losing to Tomasz Adamek in April 2010 and hopes to get a shot at one of the Klitschkos in the near future.
Next up for Arreola is a heavyweight fight against Eric Molina (18-1-0, 14 KOs) of Raymondville, Texas on Showtime Championship Boxing on Saturday, February 18, 2012 in Corpus Christi, Texas at the AmericanBank Center. Headlining the card will be Paul Williams vs Nobuhiro Ishida.

Ringside Las Vegas: Chris Arreola, fighting on the undercard of Baldomir vs Mayweather on November 4, 2006 at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Nevada beat the previously undefeated Damian Wills by TKO at 2:17 of the 7th round. Arreola hammered away at the cornered Wills until referee Kenny Bayless had no choice other than to stop the fight. Additionally Arreloa had cut Wills over the right eye in round one with a left jab followed by a straight right and rocked Wills badly in round two.
On May 4, 2007 at the Palms Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, the aggressive Chris Arreola knocked his opponent Malcolm Tann (23-3-0, 12 KOs) out of the ring in round eight. Tann, "The Showstopper" had not been stopped in his previous 25 fights.

On July 14, 2007 at the Home Depot Center in Carson, California, Chris Arreola like a young Mike Tyson, destroyed Derek Berry (12-9-1, 5 KOs) by knockout in just 57 seconds of round one.
On Friday, September 21, 2007 at the Doubletree Hotel in Ontario, California, Chris Arreola knocked out heavy puncher Thomas Hayes (26-2-0, 18 KOs) in the 3rd round taking home the WBC Continental Americas heavyweight title along with his win.
Chris Arreola blew Cliff "Twin Tyson" Couser (26-15-2, 14 KOs) out at 1:22 in the 1st round of a scheduled 10-round fight on the Williams vs Quintana undercard on Saturday, February 9, 2008 at Pechanga Casino in Temecula, California. Arreola is one of the few Mexican-American fighters to emerge in recent years as a serious heavyweight contender. His goal is to become the first ever Mexican heavyweight world champion.
Arreola successfully defended his WBC Continental Americas heavyweight title beating previously undefeated Chazz Witherspoon (23-1-0, 15 KOs) by 3rd round DQ on Saturday, June 21, 2008 at the FedEx Forum in Memphis, Tennessee. The fight aired live on HBO as a co-main event along with Berto-Rodriguez. Arreola sent Witherspoon to the canvas twice in round three. The second time was at the bell. After Witherspoon was given an eight count his corner entered the ring to help him to his stool causing referee Randy Phillips to DQ Witherspoon.
Chris Arreola beat Israel Carlos Garcia (19-2-0, 11 KOs) by TKO at 1:11 of round three on Thursday, September 25, 2008 at the Soboba Casino in San Jacinto, California. In addition to his victory Arreola captured the WBC Continental Americas heavyweight title. In his last fight on June 21st Arreola beat Chazz Witherspoon. Garcia beat Chazz Witherspoon's cousin former heavyweight champion Tim Witherspoon in a 3-round heavyweight tournament on November 30, 2002 at Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City.
On Saturday, November 29, 2008 at the Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, California, Chris Arreola beat former National Golden Gloves champion Travis Walker (28-2-1, 22 KOs) by 3rd round TKO in a IBF heavyweight title eliminator fight. Arreola was down in round two but got up to knockdown Walker two times in round two and once in round three. In addition to his win Arreola captured Walker's NABF heavyweight title and successfully defended his own WBC Continental Americas heavyweight title for the third time.
Arreola beat former NABO heavyweight champion Jameel McCline (39-10-3, 23 KOs) by 4th round KO on Saturday, April 11, 2009 at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Nevada. Fighting on the HBO undercard of Wright vs Williams, Arreola landed a combination of punches that put McCline on the canvas for the count. Arreola retained his NABF heavyweight and WBC Continental Americas heavyweight titles.
On Saturday, September 26, 2009 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California, Chris Arreola lost by 10th round TKO to Vitali Klitschko (38-2-0, 37 KOs) in a WBC heavyweight title fight. Arreola just couldn't get inside. He kept coming forward and pressuring Klitschko but the 6 feet 7 1/2 inch tall Klitschko with his 70 inch reach ran and used his long jab to keep Arreola at a distance and out of range unable to land any effective punches. So at 3:00 of round ten referee Jon Schorle and Arreola's trainer Henry Ramirez stopped the fight feeling it was too one sided. Arreola was irate then sobbed. This was Arreola's first time fighting at the Staples Center and his first time fighting for a major world title.
Chris Arreola beat heavyweight Brian Minto (34-3-0, 21 KOs) by 4th round TKO on Saturday, December 5, 2009 at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Arreola looked good despite weighing 263 lbs which was 12 lbs heavier than he when fought Vitali Klitschko. Minto fought with a lot of heart but Arreola overpowered him. The fight card promoted by Dan Goossen of Goossen Tutor was televised on HBO and also featured Paul Williams vs Sergio Gabriel Martinez.
Arreola lost by 12-round majority decision to Tomasz Adamek (41-1-0, 27 KOs) in an IBF International heavyweight title bout on Saturday, April 4, 2010 at the Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, California. Scores were 114-114, 113-115 and 111-117. Arreola, who out weighted the smaller Adamek by 30 pounds pummeled Adamek with heavy punches but failed to stop the hard headed granite chinned Pol. Possibly being unable to deliver the finishing blow was due to the fact that Arreola hurt his left hand in the 5th round and his right hand in the 11th round. The fight card dubbed "Ring of Fire" promoted by Gary Shaw and Dan Goossen airing live on HBO drew only a crowd of 6,000.
Chris Arreola beat Manuel Quezada (29-6-0, 18 KOs) by 12-round unanimous decision on Friday, August 13, 2010 at the Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, California. Scores were 118-107, 118-107 and 117-108. In addition to his victory Arreola won the WBC FECOMBOX heavyweight title. Arreola floored Quezada twice in round nine and once in round twelve. Despite fracturing his left hand in round two and tearing a tendon in his right hand during round nine Arreola was the busier fighter throwing 988 punches and landing 33%. Arreola came in at 256 lb which was 5 1/2 pounds heavier than he did for the Adamek fight but he looked more toned this time. Arreola vs Quezada headlined the ESPN2 Friday Night Fights card.
On Friday, January 28, 2010 at Pechanga in Temecula California, Chris Arreola beat southpaw Joey Abell (27-5-0, 26 KOs) from Coon Rapids, Minnesota by 1st round knockout in a heavyweight bout. A huge right hand by Arreola threw Abell's head back followed by a left hook to the head and string of right-left combinations prompted the referee to step in and stop the fight at 2:18 with Abell defenseless. A true gentleman, Arreola kissed Abell at the end of the bout.
Chris Arreola defeated Dominican Republic Nagy Aguilera (16-6-0, 11 KOs) by 3rd round TKO in a heavyweight bout on the Ward vs Abraham Super Six fight card on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at the Home Depot Center in Carson, California. Weighing a light 234 lbs Arreola took the fight to Aguilera. In round two after feeling Arreola's power Aguilera spent more time back peddling then throwing punches. In round three Arreola hurt Aguilera early then backed him up to the ropes and pummeled him with punches snapping his head back prompting referee Raul Caiz Jr to step in and stop the bout at 1:58.
Arreola in a quick turnaround of only 13 days since his last fight beat former WBO Latino heavyweight champion Kendrick Releford (22-15-2, 10 KOs) by 7th round TKO on ESPN Friday Night Fights on May 27, 2011 at the Reno Events Center in Reno, Nevada. Arreola landed a vicious right uppercut to Releford's chin in round two and penetrated Releford's high guard with multiple punches in round five. In round six Arreola caused Releford to take a knee then caught him again with another vicious uppercut when he got up. In round seven Arreola backed Releford up against the ropes and landed a right uppercut followed by a left hook the head that prompted the referee to stop the fight to save bloody nose Releford from further damage.
On Saturday, July 9, 2011 at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey fighting on the undercard of Williams vs Lara, Chris Arreola defeated Nigerian Friday Ahunanya (24-8-3, 13 KOs) of Las Vegas by 10-round unanimous decision. In a near shutout scores were 100-90, 99-91 and 99-91. Arreola hurt Ahunanya with an overhand right in round seven but didn't knock him out which disappointed Arreola. But Ahunanya's got a good chin and has only been stopped once back in 2004. This was Arreola's fifth fight in the last 11 months and also his fifth consecutive win since his loss to Tomasz Adamek in April 2010.
