Chris Arreola beat Manuel Quezada (29-6-0, 18 KOs) by 12-round unanimous decision on Friday, August 13, 2010 at the Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, California. Scores were 118-107, 118-107 and 117-108. In addition to his victory Arreola won the WBC FECOMBOX heavyweight title. Arreola floored Quezada twice in round nine and once in round twelve. Despite fracturing his left hand in round two and tearing a tendon in his right hand during round nine Arreola was the busier fighter throwing 988 punches and landing 33%. Arreola came in at 256 lb which was 5 1/2 pounds heavier than he did for the Adamek fight but he looked more toned this time. Arreola vs Quezada headlined the ESPN2 Friday Night Fights card.

Ringside Las Vegas: Chris Arreola, fighting on the undercard of Baldomir vs Mayweather on November 4, 2006 at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Nevada beat the previously undefeated Damian Wills by TKO at 2:17 of the 7th round. Arreola hammered away at the cornered Wills until referee Kenny Bayless had no choice other than to stop the fight. Additionally Arreloa had cut Wills over the right eye in round one with a left jab followed by a straight right and rocked Wills badly in round two.

On May 4, 2007 at the Palms Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, the aggressive Chris Arreola knocked his opponent Malcolm Tann (23-3-0, 12 KOs) out of the ring in round eight. Tann, "The Showstopper" had not been stopped in his previous 25 fights.

Arreola is one of the few Mexican-American fighters to emerge in recent years as a serious heavyweight contender. His goal is to become the first ever Mexican heavyweight world champion.

Chris Arreola successfully defended his WBC Continental Americas heavyweight title beating previously undefeated Chazz Witherspoon (23-1-0, 15 KOs) by 3rd round DQ on Saturday, June 21, 2008 at the FedEx Forum in Memphis, Tennessee. The fight aired live on HBO as a co-main event along with Berto-Rodriguez. Arreola sent Witherspoon to the canvas twice in round three. The second time was at the bell. After Witherspoon was given an eight count his corner entered the ring to help him to his stool causing referee Randy Phillips to DQ Witherspoon.

Chris Arreola beat Israel Carlos Garcia (19-2-0, 11 KOs) by TKO at 1:11 of round three on Thursday, September 25, 2008 at the Soboba Casino in San Jacinto, California. In addition to his victory Arreola captured the WBC Continental Americas heavyweight title. In his last fight on June 21st Arreola beat Chazz Witherspoon. Garcia beat Chazz Witherspoon's cousin former heavyweight champion Tim Witherspoon in a 3-round heavyweight tournament on November 30, 2002 at Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City.

On Saturday, November 29, 2008 at the Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, California, Chris Arreola beat former National Golden Gloves champion Travis Walker (28-2-1, 22 KOs) by 3rd round TKO in a IBF heavyweight title eliminator fight. Arreola was down in round two but got up to knock down Walker two times in round two and once in round three. In addition to his win Arreola captured Walker's NABF heavyweight title and successfully defended his own WBC Continental Americas heavyweight title for the third time.

Chris Arreola beat former NABO heavyweight champion Jameel McCline (39-10-3, 23 KOs) by 4th round KO on Saturday, April 11, 2009 at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Nevada. Fighting on the HBO undercard of Wright vs Williams, Arreola landed a combination of punches that put McCline on the canvas for the count. Arreola retained his NABF heavyweight and WBC Continental Americas heavyweight titles.

On Saturday, September 26, 2009 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California, Chris Arreola lost by 10th round TKO to Vitali Klitschko (38-2-0, 37 KOs) in a WBC heavyweight title fight. Arreola just couldn't get inside. He kept coming forward and pressuring Klitschko but the 6 feet 7 1/2 inch tall Klitschko with his 70 inch reach ran and used his long jab to keep Arreola at a distance and out of range unable to land any effective punches. So at 3:00 of round ten referee Jon Schorle and Arreola's trainer Henry Ramirez stopped the fight feeling it was too one sided. Arreola was irate then sobbed. This was Arreola's first time fighting at the Staples Center and his first time fighting for a major world title.

Chris Arreola beat heavyweight Brian Minto (34-3-0, 21 KOs) by 4th round TKO on Saturday, December 5, 2009 at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Arreola looked good despite weighing 263 lbs which was 12 lbs heavier than he when fought Vitali Klitschko. Minto fought with a lot of heart but Arreola overpowered him. The fight card promoted by Dan Goossen of Goossen Tutor was televised on HBO and also featured Paul Williams vs Sergio Gabriel Martinez.

Chris Arreola lost by 12-round majority decision to Tomasz Adamek (41-1-0, 27 KOs) in an IBF International heavyweight title bout on Saturday, April 4, 2010 at the Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, California. Scores were 114-114, 113-115 and 111-117. Arreola, who out weighted the smaller Adamek by 30 pounds pummeled Adamek with heavy punches but failed to stop the hard headed granite chinned Pol. Possibly being unable to deliver the finishing blow was due to the fact that Arreola hurt his left hand in the 5th round and his right hand in the 11th round. The fight card dubbed "Ring of Fire" promoted by Gary Shaw and Dan Goossen airing live on HBO drew only a crowd of 6,000.
